Hi guys, I am going to work in about 20 minutes but I just wanted to share to you my outfit today when I went out to a Thai restaurant since I was badly craving for some thai food. Like the Thai food which I am addicted to when I lived in Thailand for a short time, I am also addicted to blogging now. I want to do it everyday. 🙂 I wish I really can. Well, let see if I can give you a post everyday and I hope you won’t get tired of me then. LOL!
My outfit, XOXO white longsleeves stretchable top, BCBG dress, Loafers bought in Amazon, Candy purse bought in ebay. So what do you think? Summery colors, spring time soon. Just can’t wait. :))
Hi guys, I just got home from work and it so happened that I am not so sleepy yet so I decided to post these photos I had today. I am beginning to love what I am doing, I mean the blogging thing. LOL! I love fashion regardless of time, yesterday, today and tomorrow but this blogging, it’s starting to hit on me like a drug. It’s addictive. LOL! So I have noticed on my posts I haven’t posted this pair of cutesy, sexy boots I am wearing. So I decided to wear them today to pair with this pretty dress I just bought recently. I am so inlove with how the combo came out especially when I paired it with my candy messenger bag I got on ebay from overseas.
Fine prints are classic. You stock up your closet with fine print dresses and they are timeless. You don’t need to accessorize a fine print dress too well because it’s a statement on its own. Like what I did here, I just picked my calf high boots, and a solid candy purse, a simple bead necklace and I am all set.
So what do you think guys? Sorry about the trash can though. My husband didn’t take his time considering of what was on the surroundings before taking the pics. Good thing, the can was empty. LOL! See you again next time guys, I hope you like my little post… goodnight 🙂
Looking back at the photos I have taken eversince I started blogging, I remember a conversation I had with my younger sister back in the Philippines. We both love fashion. We looked and read fashion magazines and gave comment on what we thought of styles from celebrities and high fashion models. Then we would both sigh….If only we looked like them, tall, skinny, and we sighed again. Then we would both laugh after because we knew the thought was crazy. So models are usually pretty in a unique way. They are usually skinny and tall. But hey, even if they are born that way, I am sure they worked so hard to be where they are now, to be in those glossy covers that me and my sister envied all the time. So today, I just wanted to share my thoughts about styling. My husband kept telling me that everytime I go out, it seems like I am going to attend a certain fashion fair. LOL! I changed clothes like 3 times before I can make up my mind on what I should wear on that day. It’s ridiculous, right? But when you want to look good, you need to be comfortable. When you are comfortable, you are confident, and when you are confident, you feel beautiful. But all of these things are hard work. There is no such thing as effortless for me. You might look effortless in your style, but you have to think and decide , try and try more to be confident about who you are in fashion, about what style you are most comfortable in.
Today I am wearing My Michelle blazer, vintage-inspired lace top, forever21 skirt, shoes by Pulse, purse by J. Renee and watch by Michael Kors.
I love Texas! I love Texas especially in the winter time. We are just in the middle of February but with a temperature in the 70s, you can’t help but love it here. I went out to lunch with the husband of course and wore this preppy outfit. I am getting obssessed with flowery tops on tiny prints paired with solid bottoms. The girly fashionista in me comes out everytime I see flowers. LOL!
I keep it simple by just wearing a few accessories. Not even wearing a watch this time, when in fact, most of the time I can’t just leave the house without wearing one.
My ring, it’s a DIY. I had it on my previous post. I am a proud promoter of PEACE. 🙂
So in general, this preppy day was a gorgeous day for me. You put on your red lipstick, just do a pony tail, wear your cute preppy outfit with your most comfortable shoes, accessorize beautifully and simply, then put on your sweetest smile. It’s a GORGEOUS DAY!
Husband and I had our pre-valentine’s day date today, went out to lunch, shopped a little and watched a movie. It was pretty cool! And he took pictures of me. I am happy about that! LOL! So I just wanted to share to you guys a mix ‘n match of clothes to produce an outfit today. I hope all of you guys will enjoy your Valentine’s day!
This is a preview of what I am going to wear on Valentine’s Day. Since it’s next to impossible to have a solo photo on that day because it’s a date day with the husband and no cameras, just me and him. Period. LOL! I chose the dress not only because it has a simple yet elegant cut, but also because it’s a maxi. It somehow gives you authority. That you own that day. You are you. And you are beautiful and confident as a woman.
Happy Valentines day everyone! See you next time.
It’s Valentine’s Day 2 days from now! Everyone got their own plans, I supposed. Either you will go out with your girl friends, with your family, or with a special someone. What would you wear? Would you go red? Hmm, me, I am not. I just posted this photo because traditionally, Valentine’s day is associated with the color red. I am wondering how many girls in fashion would go out in red on that day. Plenty, probably. Well, this was my outfit when we celebrated Christmas of last year. I love the simplicity of the dress when I saw it online I knew I had to buy it and so I could wear it during Christmas eve. Too bad, I had no solo photo to post on my blog. LOL! So here it is now, everything in the outfit is the same.
Since my dress is so simple, I paired it with a strappy booties that matched the color of my belt. The shoes and the necklace gave elegance to the dress I believe. I would always love to pair a red dress with anything in beige or nude colors.
So what do you think? Would you like to go red? Yah, on Valentine’s Day. :))
You like it or not spring is just around the corner now. And when you think about it, you also start thinking about cute stuffs, like flowers in full bloom and of different colors. Since I love to prepare for the spring, like my outfits on where we are going, this time, I make preparations of my accessories as well. I am thinking if everyday I will use different kind of accessories, I will be broke trying to buy every single one of them. Even if they aren’t expensive, I still don’t want to spend more than what I used to spend before when I wasn’t blogging yet. So here it is. I made my own. I went to the Hobby Lobby yesterday and grabbed these pieces and assembled them into my own cute little accessories. The prices of these embellishments range from $1.99 to $2.99. But they come in packs. So let see you have 8 beads for a $1.99 which I wrapped with a cute printed cloth which is an extra cut from my sewing and glued it well, put an earring post and a clutch, you can make 4 cute pairs of earrings. It’s not a bad idea after all, isn’t it? What about you? Would you prefer making your own cute accessories too?
So I am looking at my closet again. I have this feeling that all my clothes are for spring or for summer. And yah, I want to sing, hurry up, spring! Back in the Philippines, because it is a tropical country and it has no winter season, even on a rainy day, you want to wear your shorts, skirt, sleeveless top and the like. Hmm, I am missing my country. Wearing this outfit today, makes me feel nostalgic of some things I used to do in my beloved country 🙂 Yeah, like hanging out with your girl friends, walking in the mall in your shorts and flat shoes on, having some frappe on a regular blazing day.
My outfit today is a combination of some hauls I did in the mall and online. The shorts, I got it for a very unbeatable price. My top, is a DIY by me of course. :)) It used to be a dress which doesn’t look so nice for me so I altered it into a top. My shoes are from steve madden. I am in love with the color especially when I matched it with the pink purse from BCBG. They look like candies to me, yummy, yummy colors. LOL!~
So what do you think? Do you want to sing as well? Hurry up, Spring!
Another gorgeous day today. Husband and I ate at one of our favorite fast food restaurants and after lunch, he agreed to take me to the service road where this white fence is. I decided to wear neutral colors today for my dress and even my shoes and to give life to the outfit I used my pink bag again which I used yesterday in my post and a scarf headpiece.
These shoes from JADA I got them when I was still in the Philippines almost 2 years ago. I have kept them like they are my babies. They are so comfortable and edgy and you can just throw a simple dress with it and you are all set!
